Laurel Hill Apartments in Lorton, Virginia

Project Description

Liberty Crest Apartments (Laurel Hill) formerly Lorton Prison, Lorton, VASAI provided electrical design and construction services for the renovation and alterations to this facility that previously served as a prison. The project was for renovating what was formerly dormitories, that housed the prisoners, and turn them into apartments. The work was performed in stages, one dormitory at a time, for a total of nine (9) stages containing 73 single story and 65 two-story apartments. The scope of work was later increased to provide electrical design for the existing chapel, power plant and pool house.
